A very important but often
neglected instrument in
surgical rooms is the kick
bucket and sponge receptacle.
The kick bucket is basically a
waste container that is usually
made of stainless steel and
rubber baskets.
These buckets are mounted on
wheels, and have a protective,
hard rubber and steel rim that
makes it easy for staff to move
the bucket as they wish during
a surgery. As the name
suggests, a sponge receptacle
is an instrument used for
storing or keeping sponges for
surgery.
Sponge receptacles are also
made from stainless steel
basin that is mounted on a
mobile base with four ball
bearing swivel casters. The
basin usually has rubber
cushions inside the basin
support ring and a rubber
bumper on the outside of the
mobile frame.
We at Canadian medical
equipment store know the
importance of kick buckets and
sponge receptacles in any
hospital and surgery suite. This
is why we have a variety of
kick buckets and sponge
receptacles on sale.
Our kick buckets come with an
all welded stainless steel
construction with a non-tip
mobile base. They have
protective rubber bumpers that
protect the bucket from walls
and equipment while
deadening sound. There are
also rubber cushions in the
bucket support ring that help
prevent the bucket from
rattling when in use.
We also have sponge
receptacles of welded stainless
steel construction and a mobile
base with ball bearing swivel
casters. These receptacles too
have rubber cushions inside its
basin support ring and a
rubber bumper on its outside. |
